Backyard Conservation Stewardship Short Course - Whether you have acres in the country, an average-sized suburban yard,or a tiny plot in the city, learn how you can conserve our natural resources, provide shelter and habitat for wildlife, and add beauty and interest to your backyard.

Marine Biotoxin Monitoring -  Volunteers monitor local recreational shellfish beaches to assure they are safe for public shellfish harvesting.  Samples are tested for Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning (PSP).  Includes two-day training event in late April and sampling approximately twice a month during summer low tides.

Stream Team Volunteers - The Skagit Stream Team is a network of local citizens concerned about the health of local streams. Stream Team volunteers are trained to work in teams to collect water quality data on stream reaches located in Skagit County.

Watershed Masters Volunteer Training Program - 40 hour training program which covers a variety of watershed and water quality related topics presented by local resource professionals.  Includes field tours.

Date or month/time of year:  Training held in the Fall (Sept. - Nov), however, quarterly workshops, field trips, and other events are held year round.
